@vambenepe Lame excuse. That has never stopped me.

Thanks @sthuebner, this was a most excellent southpark episode http://www.southpark.de/alleEpisoden/1404/?lang=en

@m_st I can help: Send me an email explaining what the article is about - but just before hitting "Send", copy & paste it as the intro :-)
Replying to @ewolff
@ewolff well, about everything else - the code generator is just a tiny piece that is used very little. Scaffolding is almost never used.
Very good points by @ewolff re Java EE & Spring http://goo.gl/fb/nLl5a (except that code generation is Rails' least important feature)

@headius Fair enough, although this would rather be about showing the JVM actually can and should be used for efficient code
Replying to @smeyen
@smeyen the discussion should be "open" vs. "closed" - they're independent from standards
Replying to @smeyen
@smeyen I'm not saying it has, not at all - merely that "proprietary" or "non-standard" doesn't really mean anything in the Java space
@headius ... the point of it being?
Had a lot of fun talking about Clojure at tonight's #jugbb session, and great talks over beer with @sthuebner and others
Replying to @smeyen
@smeyen minimal requirement: support by more than one vendor
Replying to @smeyen
@smeyen Would it be better to call it "non-standard"? :-)
Only now realizing how awesome Clojure's extend-type together with defprotocol actually is
What a strange conservative idea RT @sallamar: "It’s a protocol. We should spend some time getting it right." http://bit.ly/cGtfGi
