Elliott Offers to Acquire Novell http://bit.ly/93qeAj /via @myfear - Novell still exists?
Replying to @jimwebber
@jimwebber Oh come on. Not even the Swiss believe that :-)
Very interesting, @glv writes tweets about BDD that would be exactly 141 letters were it not for the fact that he spells behavior correctly.

@stal_m … and giving big companies an advantage over small ones is the exact opposite of patents' original goal
Replying to @MichaelStal
@stal_m I remain convinced that software patents are plain wrong and should *never* be granted. [Why does this topic always make me mad?]
Replying to @MichaelStal
@stal_m Using it in defense I can understand (even though I'd never participate). Using a patented Observer pattern aggressively? Come on …
Replying to @Straxus
@Straxus @m_st We could use a feed instead of an observer! Oh, wait. http://bit.ly/ayBERj
@m_st Yes. I wonder how many developers unknowingly violate Apple's Observer pattern patent. I hope they feel bad.
Replying to @MichaelStal
@stal_m Seriously, do you really stand by that last statement with regards to, say, http://bit.ly/9SgwnP and http://bit.ly/bSgIo6 ?

Damn, the Apple patents list at http://bit.ly/93TNy8 _and the fact that they actually used it agressively_ makes me want to throw up

Replying to @MichaelStal
@stal_m It depends on the kind of patent. At least in the case of software patents, I strongly disagree. Check out http://bit.ly/93TNy8

Personally, I never found Apple to be a particularly ethical company. Still sad to see them suing a company they outperform easily
+1! "Enforcing patents isn't a good long-term play: it's the beginning of the end of the creative Apple we both love." http://bit.ly/asRRlE

Note to self: domestic Lufthansa flights suck no less than Germanwings or AirBerlin's
Replying to @smeyen
@smeyen At least it's not "völkisch"
Replying to @assaf
@assaf No objections to making informed decisions against any technology; it's uninformed ones I object to
