@jeppec Clojure Syntax: an hour of theory, a few days of practice. Libraries and idioms - I don't know, probably months or years

@codemonkeyism I'm not at all complaining about the type annotations. I think Scala does a great job at interference
@vogella Good point, will try to make sure this is the case in the future
Scala just has way too much syntax for my taste.
Still, I have no doubt it's much better than Java.

Can't make myself love Scala; powerful, fast, typesafe and probably the future, but Clojure or Ruby are much more to my taste #jaxlondon

Right-associative binding of Scala methods that end in ":" reminds me of a former co-worker who used to override the comma operator in C++
@tedneward's doing a good job introducing Scala. I find the language impressive, in a way similar to C++
