my hope for bitcoin is that it crashes hard and scares the speculators away for a long time and then that people actually start using it

@sama Most people at Bitcoin meetups in London don't understand the protocol, its used & are speculators. It's an unhealthy community

@sama it'd hurt the confidence of current "users" and cause them to stay away, no? I see what you're saying, but a crash might not be it.
@sama that will never happen just look at the bitflow. If you have some time you can trace the trns. & see that its very centralized.
