it only ever worked reliably when the client iPhone did not have 4G coverage and the host iPhone did (different carriers) .

Also let鈥檚 crowdfund the email app鈥檚 search. It鈥檚 slow and a majority of time doesn鈥檛 find the email. Also the glitch that takes you away from the email you clicked to read to some random other email.

That鈥檚 the main reason I carry a Google Pixel. Their hotspots are among the best in the industry.

Hack to use personal hotspot on an iphone reliably: - Go to Settings, 1. Switch off personal hotspot, 2. Switch off Wifi, 3. Switch on personal Hotspot again, 4. System popup asks Wifi or Bluetooth, Select Wifi. Boom, works 9/10 times.

There are a few other things. E.g. when you are going through the notification center messages, it keeps turning itself off.

Thought it was just me but getting hotspot to work for a Win10 notebook is a nightmare. Have to switch to 鉁堬笍 mode on both devices several times until it picks up. Apple can do better on this.

Only after we hire an engineer to make AirPrint reliable.

Even better: Apple should open-source their network drivers, make a blog post or two, and enjoy the free labor /s
