the crazy thing to me is that the DoD hadn't insisted on paying spacex for starlink service in ukraine in the first place very sure other defense contractors get paid much more for much less value the people who want to make elon out to be the bad guy here just want attention

Or Muskovite is just lying, like always.

It doesn't cost Elon a dime to send a signal that's already being sent

The only reason Elon made it so he had to pay for Starlink is either because he wants himself to look good, because he's scared of all the backlash he'd get, or because he wants to cover up his comments on Ukraine.

They're not a defense contractor though. Like, the DoD set up a contract for them to do that? If not, they're not a defense contractor.

I guess Elon proposing a peace plan, Zelensky and his guys asking him to eff off, starlink outages and Elon asking to be paid for the services were all unrelated events and mutually exclusive.

Starlink is $100 a month plus $600 in hardware costs. Military in Ukraine can afford that, even with war. What Musk wants is for someone to subsidize his losses above that. His taking losses in every other market he operates in

He is the bad because he is making shadow to de USA Govern

Musk has done more good to humanity than virtually every other currently living person, though abetting the Russian invader is a sizable deduction due to his 100 mill Twitter followers. On Starlink, fair to ask gov for financing. What’s wrong is not making it available in Crimea.

Government logistics is poop💩

wrong, it's not about getting paid for starlink, it's that he's clowning and being flippant and producing Russian talking points in tweets whilst Ukrainians are dying and digging up their tortured friends and families from mass graves.
