the crazy thing to me is that the DoD hadn't insisted on paying spacex for starlink service in ukraine in the first place very sure other defense contractors get paid much more for much less value the people who want to make elon out to be the bad guy here just want attention

Elon Musk is pretending that SpaceX only now cannot afford to fund Starlink in Ukraine. Truth is it was *always* taxpayer funded, and you can bet he is booking the profit.
