i wonder how quickly the internet is going to update to default assuming that all surprising content is generated by AI. it may happen quite quickly, and it could be a pretty good way to handle some thorny issues.

Eh. I think people will act just like they do when they see sarcasm on the internet. Someone always assumes it’s serious, and some group gets outraged. There will always be at least 1 fool in every crowd.

The real killer app for @OpenAI will be personal AI assistants that pre-analyze all content for us individually and score based on uniqueness, slant, and reverse CAPTCHA.

I wonder when you're going to pay all those people you stole from. In its response to the USPTO, OpenAI acknowledges the majority of content posted online is protected by U.S. copyright laws. uspto.gov/sites/default/file… They're using it as a 0-cost asset and selling it anyway.
