if you’re an openai api customer, i’d love your feedback. what annoys you the most? what features do you want us to add? if you looked at using the api and didn’t, why not?

Adding the word "black" to dalle when you type in "people" for the sake of your twisted diversity.

More granularity in tiers in between training/prod. Could be under under a certain throughput rate/token limit. I think X < 3 syllables should be 1 token for this “extended test” tier. Fine tuned model should be same price as base model, besides the training fees. Not 2x.

A better mobile interface for the playground, with easier ways of exporting nicely formatted gpt3 conversations etc. Agree that more DALL-E credits are necessary to get the hang of it. MidJourney by contrast is a lot easier to explore due to more generous initial credits.

Perhaps I didn't know the proper syntax, or it's not a feature (yet), but when I tried to have DALL-E add a caption, it missed by a wide margin. Caption, thought bubble, dialog bubble, banner... would seem to an interesting space to explore.

Maybe my answer is of the “we want faster horses” type. But, can you make code explanation models better? Not just make it say “this is a function that receives parameters a and b, and returns parameters c”. Make explanations somehow take into account the file context

When making a completion request via the API only a single request is allowed per call. The ability to submit multiple completion requests per API completion call, as with embeddings calls, will improve performance and reduce network traffic for customers.

Hey Sam lots to love however more work needs to be done on data privacy issues. For example the ability to choose a region that specifies where resources are managed would be useful e.g. we have clients in the UK, who do not want their data processed in the US and vice versa.
