if you’re an openai api customer, i’d love your feedback. what annoys you the most? what features do you want us to add? if you looked at using the api and didn’t, why not?

Would be great to prime/train/configure models via a GUI dashboard, and just consume queries with minimal HTTP requests.

I didn’t end up choosing OpenAI bc I’m a control freak and avoid making places in our business model where an outside company has the power to cut everything off for us or raise prices arbitrarily Sometimes it’s unavoidable but w so many open-source LLMs, it wasn’t in this case

There is so much to explore in the current space with the current capabilities that we should all be busy for a while. Having something watching the generation to spot instances where the model is attempting to add math or hard facts and then using existing lookup tools to 1/2

I'm a DALL-E user. Love it. Suggestion: give more structure to the inputs... something like three types of user input fields ie 1) content 2) emotions/mood and 3) medium / style.

Completing a long a$$ form to give you more than $120/mo is insane. 10x for Divinci vs Curie, is very hefty. Tokens are confusing and hard to budget..charge characters..? GPT3 is used for a lot of copy, but you don't have trained models. Lower amt of training data needed somehow

Would be great to allow non-techies to train a model without knowing how to code. I could speed up use cases by 10x probably with this

There is a service called promptbase.com which seems like a more natural thing for OpenAI to provide directly. Basically its themed/curated prompts which someone has gone to the effort to engineer. Its very convenient.
