AI is a rare example of an extremely hyped thing that almost everyone still underestimates the impact of in even the medium-term. what are other examples of this from the past couple of decades besides the iPhone? i'm curious what we can learn.

I think AI is hugely UNDER-hyped. I’d say cloud computing was under-hyped as compared to the impact it had in terms of reducing the barriers & cost of entry for new players.
