AI is a rare example of an extremely hyped thing that almost everyone still underestimates the impact of in even the medium-term. what are other examples of this from the past couple of decades besides the iPhone? i'm curious what we can learn.

Video as a collaboration medium. The pandemic gave 20 year old tech a killer application: we realized we can work remotely. Tools today allow us to see and hear each other, and that's about it. We're in inning three of this revolution.
