Sam, if Cal is so horrible, why are you there? Do you really believe that the "best" state to live in, Wyoming (!), offers the most economic opportunities, as this bizarre ranking has it?

i love california, very much, and i plan to stay. but i do think the quality and cost of living is atrocious, and it's really a failure of government that we tolerate in exchange for natural beauty and wonderful people.
