That’s why the interview is a factor, not the factor. Reference checks equal to interviews IMO.

If you can’t hold a conversation, why do I want to “work” with you?A resume is note cards on your capabilities and experiences and the interview is the conversation where you articulate that you are experienced, capabale and someone that people want to be around.

Why?I think the traditional interviewers are still the best channels to watch the candidates react.

What do you suggest instead? We’ve taken the advice of Zuckerberg and just learned to fire fast. Works pretty well but maybe there’s a better way.
