I disagree. Traditional interviews were developed to find, not create, a match to an employer’s values, beliefs, and culture, with “create” meaning forcing employers to change their process, just as a director hires the right person for the part rather than flipping the script.

I take your point, but do believe that a traditional interview with someone on the team is an important supplement to the hiring process.

I don't know about hiring but they suck so much as the person being interviewed. Go through a bunch of nonsense just to be ghosted 99% of the time.
