In the past two months, after I submitted some resumes and was rejected by HR, I felt distressed and I gave up. Because I think if I have the chance to talk to the boss or the person in charge directly, I have the confidence to get some positions.

So I am thinking that recruitment in HR needs to change and there needs to be a more accurate and effective way of recruiting that is beneficial to both the candidate and the recruiter. Is it possible to replace HR's judgment with some quantitative tests?

In Indian Tech industry remote interview format is crazy. many people got 50-100% rise within year. Package is just a number, we want people with conviction and ethics #thegreatresignation

Traditional interviews give you a great answer to the question: is this candidate good at interviewing?

I disagree if you have the skills to do the job yourself you'll know within 5mins if someone has enough skills for the job.

A lot of people are talking about try before you buy, that’s better for qualifying winning applicant, not filtering. Take into account onboarding before you can evaluate them doing anything. Depends I guess, some roles an interview can provide enough of a signal to move forward
