right now there are many high-skill immigrants that are begging to come to the US and we don't let them some day we'll beg them to come and they won't want to this is an important-but-not-urgent policy disaster, and worse than it seems

The the US is suddenly open, it'd still be my first choice. But for now, it's actually working in reverse. Many who moved there are even moving back or away.

wanted to come to USA , now i don't care. True. VAX policy was the main reason as well as cost of Visa proceedings. VAX policy puts me on mandatory vaccination + i need to have that test and if something goes wrongo i loose ticket and everything has to be redone.
