right now there are many high-skill immigrants that are begging to come to the US and we don't let them some day we'll beg them to come and they won't want to this is an important-but-not-urgent policy disaster, and worse than it seems

I’ll take a step further, some highly skilled workers can’t make it back to the US because their partners are waiting for a visa. It’s insane 11 months and counting.

I was one of these back in the day and decided to leave the USA because it was too difficult to stay (and I’m a Canadian!). I think this will be the downfall of the USA if not fixed because of an aging population
