i think in 100 years people will look back at 2022 and be even more astonished at how bad our quality of life was than we are looking back at people who lived 1000 years ago

Perhaps the quality, not quantity, of life 1000 years ago was better than most think. Second, there is a concept called "diminishing returns" and I think it applies well to today vs 100 years ago.

I wish we didn’t have to wait a 100 years !! Why can’t you just look at parts of society in the world that do not even have what we have now. Maybe then the world today could be a better place for those looking back in a 100 years.
