To the contrary, places that have a weak/no culture don’t have “the current thing” zealots. It’s the over emphatic “culturists” that care about these things in the first place.

When “the current thing”, which for me right now is OpenAI’s DALL-E, becomes the important mission then being taken over by it is mostly wonderful. Unfortunately getting information from the “strong culture” you’ve created there has been a daunting and perplexing task.
