“No good companies to invest in” at the macro means we’re doing something big wrong in how we create technology, products and companies. Ie not serving that demand is nuts.

Inflation has nothing to do with consumer goods/commodities and everything to do with assets/debt.

That just because inflation is low doesn’t mean artificially low rates don’t encourage poor investments into low or negative returning enterprises. The so called “mal investments” of the Austrian school

You should have borrowed as much as you possibly could, and invested in real estate.

That this might just work for Europe because they have a deflationary economy and most cash holders have too much to hide under a mattress

You’re just incentivizing mal-investment, which never ends well. You might get lucky with a couple of investments for a bit but a bust will catch up at some point. All while taking money from non-bankers.
