Is this the intended identifier that users should share or is the user expected to remove the query parameter in order to not expose anything silly!

Yes, the stable links are either the DOI or the one we have on our website (www2018.thewebconf.org/proce…). This is a pain, we are aware, and we are still working on improving the overall experience. #teethingproblem
