It can't use SMB shares. I don't think I've seen such a well rounded citation against the catastrophe of 'UWP' and the garbage state its left everything in.

And make no mistake, XBox badly needed a rounded KODI. It hasn't got one (yet). We will see if UWP development allows it or cripples it.
