Today
@elonmusk and Israeli PM
@netanyahu are meeting. Here is how Israel can help Elon and his companies make a massive impact.
1. FSD (Full Self-Driving) Cars for Tesla in Israel. Israel is a very small country (smaller than New Jersey) and we are a transportation island (cannot cross borders in our cars. Israel killing it in tech, and with terrible traffic, is the perfect small market to test out FSD country-wide and will help be the perfect proof-of-concept for Tesla.
2. AI investments. Over a decade ago, Bibi said Israel is going all-in on cybersecurity, and it is paying tremendous dividends to those investing in Israeli cybersecurity startups. Bibi said now that AI is a new focus. Israel is now 20% of all AI investments in the world (we are like 9 million people). Israel's goal is to get closer to 50%.
3. R&D. Israel invests the most in R&D per capita than any other nation. Opening R&D for Elon's companies will help dramatically for Elon's companies, open employment opportunities, and ideally, a way to train younger generations in Israel who have been marginalized from tech to get into tech.
4. Satellites. I always say, that whoever controls space, controls the Earth. Israel is very small and difficult to launch larger satellites. Partnering with Elon and his companies can help provide better technology for satellites, as Israel has many small satellites in orbit, but need better larger satellites.
5. Combatting Antisemitism. Bibi is a 'classical liberal' who also balances free speech and fighting antisemitism. Having an open dialogue will help us combat antisemitism, and is important for Jewish leaders to see how Community Notes has been instrumental in combatting blood libels against the Jewish people.
6. Tunnel & Boring Company. Israel's traffic sucks, and we are basically a large city-state. We need tunnels that can help Israeli traffic but also help Israel with transport below the ground, which can help us transport weapons, personnel, and goods during a defensive war.
