That would be XML served as XML AKA Draconian error handling which serves a great purpose in terms of professional work but leaves out the lay person who just wants to play and that is something that the web encourages. Have fun in the sandbox do real work at the job is my take.

That's a very very important piece of the open web I would say but it is nothing to do with the ideology of the intersection of society and technology for the good not the criminal and net worth crap. and we have not met a single design principle in three decades consistently.

So well articulated my dear and so poorly executed in the world how do we get back there what do you think?

Resig that is. At the time jQuery made sense for that period of time. In 2006 or 7 in Las Vegas Microsoft conference on the couch between John Resig and Douglas Crockford we were friendly from conference circuiting. Framework declarative functional all in a row slays me now LOL

Maybe it is salvageable but I'm not sure how to do it it has to be another Revolution another web standards project or revitalizing it with very specific intent and education must start building a rubric that is expandable and easily changed we have no standards

What's really interesting though is how there is still passion underneath the ugly that has come with the climate of change that social media brought unintentionally with it especially since Mr indicted started with his fuckery I miss the passion of collaboration and possibility.

I hate Frameworks I always have no disrespect to my colleagues John Russell actually did a good deed there but when it went out of control and then the whole no code no code bullshit where did that go now everything's all about the AI it's not it's about profits for the few

I do not consider social media the internet or the open web it uses those protocols but when it is used for anything that is antithetical to human growth and balance in the world well in New Jersey we just say fuck that shit

Exactly we all deserve to be heard and that is part of the web as well not Bots not ads manipulating communities and citizens using social media and organizing criminals being bought out by one ends empowering a shit show so horrible in this world I fear for everybody decent.

I'm so glad because I'm really not convinced the web is salvageable even with sir Tim working hard on solid it's a good idea but I don't know how far we can really get with it and the fragmentation of specs apis everywhere JavaScript everywhere I cry at least once a day over this

Can you give me more insights into the tackling only the easy things what do you mean by easy in this sense and what is your own role if I may ask?

Also you speak of it as if that is something of the past completely it isn't we still use XML some people lose X HTML some people still use Simple style all of those things as long as they're still in the browser can be used.

Yes good point and I specifically meant the web not the internet alone nice catch in fact that should be my next question I owe you a coffee or your favorite drink:-)

Actually be sent to SMS and any rural area can be very rational and better than using expensive smartphones which a lot of rural poor especially cannot afford at least here in the United States and I imagine in many places around the world so that still holds I think

And in a sense the concept of standards and the languages are all still there they are not obsolete in the sense of made obsolete but perhaps elements and things of that nature are obsolete within different languages I'm still tired I shouldn't do this I'm getting too excited LOL

PS if you go look at what's coming up in implementation for various aspects of CSS and later modules and you think that's simple we do need to talk cuz we see the world very differently LOL

A different perspective but it doesn't sound predatory in its capitalism or free trade ideals so that seems okay we'll talk about it a little more I think if you're interested it's a good conversation so many points of view now after 30 years

please stay safe out there things are heating up in the USA especially but you know how it spreads and it isn't smooth as butter but probably almost as greasy. Seriously the NYPD is the largest city police force and are all called to duty as the Trump trauma continues to unfold.
I really meant 1998 when the web standards movement began but said 1993 because that's when I started I'm tired keep this going because I am really loving it and it is going to be useful to me in bit of work I'm doing in the morning I got to take a break though and get some rest.
