As a child of the sixties civil rights in my blood where are social services and Welfare, appropriate policing and social response. Economic Aid, healthcare, respect for nature, proper nutrition preventative medicine and the ridiculous increase of accidents and drug deaths?

Why are we not having discussions about Healthcare lack of social services better education parental support discussions on ageism racism and all the ism's you want this is a Multicultural Society and we need to get over our bulshit if we want our children to have any future.

Yes we keep pressure for better gun control and reform but with so much violence like school shootings that there is resistance to any thinking and inquiry to other social factors is very dangerous. war is everywhere but the USA is and has been facing this horror for decades

In simple terms the declarative is what we want to do. Imperative is how we are going to do it Functional uses math and logic to get results. These are considered programmatic paradigms. Others exist. Look at the languages in question and the context in which they are used. 😊

I'm really always delighted to see your work Lex. I do have to say I admire all of your guests controversial or otherwise and Jay I feel you would be an excellent person to begin adding research the FDA more big Pharma more neuroscience preventive health and Behavioral Medicine.

It's so very. at least her greatest fear as I imagined so many parents are feeling especially today would have been to have lost me 2 bone marrow aplasia before she passed. So grateful she was able to live her life without losing a child. ❤️

Are you an only child may I ask Clint I wonder about that because my brothers and I have talked about it in detail and agreed that that was the choice we were all going to make not to my mother's pleasure as one might imagine. But it ends with us and so it is going to be.

Thank you! I was inspired by Jen in the first place that current development encourages functional over declarative approaches. Problem is exclusionary thinking. Having both in our toolbox is empowering but declarative approaches are outright hated in today's languages and usage.

Thanks folks for expanding the conversation. Availability of guns must be addressed. Most acts of school shootings are not singular cause. Very important to add to this conversation is prescribed use or recent cessation of Pharmaceutical antidepressants, especially SSRIs.
Mental health, evil, white supremacist ideology, domestic violence/family annihilation, femicide, doesn’t matter which or none. Guns are readily accessible to folk in all of these categories. That is the common denominator. Which is not in opposition to addressing the others.

I appreciate your honesty and yes it is perfectly reasonable to be crying this is tragedy of the most heinous unspeakable sort I don't know any other type of crime of such violence in one nation only? I strongly feel no emotional response to these crimes is pathological.

You are exactly on it that's why I got upset and overall otherwise I seem to be managing fine to live in that violence to look at that list of high schools and colleges only when other massacres like Las Vegas and Tucson exist as well is a terrible symptom of serious disease.

This entire month has been a nightmare list I posted was close to 6000 high schools and colleges not others. I was present at 2 mass shootings Giffords in Tucson my mom was taken off life support 5 minutes before I heard every shot every scream echo down Las Vegas Boulevard.

It's an interesting psychological phenomenon very common person gets upset and take their own upset and place it on the other party. I was just emotional and hurt and said that's normal not being upset is not normal. I definitely didn't need that I got mansplained LOL

As a follow-up to this I think the human struggle is just part of the package. we feed the bad stuff we don't encourage kindness and decency. My family had good ethics but a lot of abuse and cruelty. Not one of the kids has had kids for a reason we all agreed it ends with us.

That makes more sense because look at that list that was something close to 6000 high schools and colleges there are also shootings in lower-level schools as well as parks and clubs and in the streets and On the Border. It makes me so sad and yet we have to carry on keep hope.
