I have not seen WordPerfect mentioned in a very long time. It lasted longer than expected because it was used here in the states as the word processor for attorneys and legal system workers. Who all eventually move to Microsoft Word. I remember wordstar!

I even ran a multi-line BBS with a friend here in Tucson and cannot for the life of me remember reading one BBS book. I was a systems operator AKA sysop or Community manager I'm Jeannie and on MSN original 1995 came out and later the web for the disabilities community.

I loved gopher loved loved loved it. I did work for a university that was using it for documenting Medical Science journals and the like it was really fun and definitely sparked my interest in digital publishing. Of course later blogs became a significant aspect of Web 2.0.

That's a wonderful distinction I think it depends in some ways how you use social networks we see such a proliferation of media and the binary arguments and political awful non-stop it has been better since certain world leader pretend was bands it should have been sooner.

I just realized where I'd heard that story it was Flash. You'd have people doing very intelligent work really lovely and appropriate for what they were doing and designers loved that pixel perfection. But boy did people, particularly certain agencies, abuse it and users too!

That's not untrue and in fact I think it's happened with other services and platforms like that before and likely will again. The one main issue with WordPress is more push for accessibility which was easier in early versions but less robust options including plugins and themes.

This is so fun it's like wandering down the memory of my youth because I was a lot younger in the '80s;-)

That I do not remember specific to bbs's in fact I'm not sure I remember too many books about bbs's at all. We had a local magazine that was pretty cool and kept lists of local single line and multi-line PBS is in their various topics and social interactions and events. So cool.

The favicon! It was so strange when it first came out and now it just seems like an indelibly Inked piece of our history. From the history of the web here's a little walk down memory lane. Enjoy! #webhistory #webdeveloper #100Devs thehistoryoftheweb.com/how-w…

It must be a later Edition or rewrite because The Guerrilla Marketing Concept was very early like 94 or 95 perhaps?

I like that comments regarding suffering and meaning I believe suffering is often the path to Healing. We go through not suppress. We should find many other ways to support and help one another however to over-medicalize everything is simply not going to end well for Humanity.

Curious how does one turn on jeans what is the actual physiological mechanism I'm interested to know, thanks!
I'm also sick of the constant use of the term brain chemistry! It's doesn't begin to describe what really is going on. we are whole beings. We already know serotonin is about 90% gut 5% brain and 5% platelets. Deniers and people promoting their ideas as truth do not science make!

I don't think we're happier here in the USA right now I think we're pretty darn miserable we've come through a very dark passage. It does give pause and people need to think about antidepressants as part of the problem. They definitely were for me. Now no SSRI, no depression!
