The separation of mind and body is an extreme falsehood that has led to the separation of medicine and psychiatry as a practice in humanity when this is a false separation. Can your so-called mind or brain be cut off from your body and both function no we are whole beings.

It is absolutely about quality of life. I encourage all to focus on that quality over quantity. It adds pressure, when in fact with time, many conditions resolve and/or we become better informed. In 10 years, we may find our struggles now save us as many thousands of others.

Yes, I know. sorry for startling folks! I read that tweet and thought my heavens, 75mg would overdose several of us with high tolerance! it is .75mg clonazepam, .25 3x daily for this period of time of my final taper. Thanks, Wren, for the clarification :)

Any patients with depression should be very careful when considering this new drug. If you are a provider get with the reality that a new era of understanding is upon us that these medications do great harm. What is the advantage of adding another? Profit. #a11y #prescribedharm

Dextromethorphan is already a drug of abuse. Bupropion is , an existing SSRI. It is weird timing considering the well-known problems with ssris and the debunking of the serotonin theory. It adds yet another Arsenal in the US for big Pharmaceutical profits and patient dangers.

Turning back to the ongoing dramas around psychopharmaceuticals, in this case antidepressants a new rapid acting form of antidepressant has been approved for use in the US by the FDA. It is a combo of dextromethorphan and bupropion. medscape.com/viewarticle/979…

YES. Every category of psych meds has considerable risks and only a very small reward, yet they are misused by providers, pushed by pharma and psych, and can result in minor to major and permanent disabilities and death. BE INFORMED!

The self hatred and doubt we can feel at the hands of irresponsible, cold providers is exactly the oppression proliferated by both the psychiatric treatment providers and big pharma ass-kissers want. Defy them! You are beautiful and perfect, and deserve dignified treatment!

Usually they don't fill out the big guns unless they need to for people who owe a lot like a lot a lot so for the average Jane or Joe it's not really going to be a problem so long as you keep your taxes either paid or in communication with them in some payment plan.

I think the Spectrum model is problematic for diagnosing conditions. We want to be precise and clear about each category and conditions with precise criteria to do good differential Diagnostics. We should be statistically sound and avoid misdiagnosis or too many comorbidities.

I'm glad you're able to start processing things that were suppressed by pharmaceutical medications is just ridiculous especially when they don't provide any kind of therapy or peer support and just shove the drugs at you it's incredibly dangerous, cruel. Signing off for now BBL!

Yeah that would be one of several dozens of cognitive biases that Psych suffers from. Including cognitive biases ;-)

That's a very good point the testing on women is definitely much lower as well as the Diagnostics and the criteria. Look at autism in girls very different.

Right after the diagnostic commentary on patients Googling about their conditions and medication side effects... Another for DSM is persistent grief syndrome. mourn somebody more than 2 years is wrong? We lose our loved ones we're going to mourn. For life at times. That's cold.

I know right it was so ridiculous. That's the whole point of the web free access to free information I'm not talking social media here like Twitter but I'm talking about good websites good organizations and helpful information we should all be informed! it threatens them big time

Yeah that can get messed you up when you start taking them the way you want to as opposed to the way they prescribed that's a big red flag for providers. I'm glad you're out I'm so glad you got out congratulations for that that took courage!

I'm glad you had some kind of support! my husband was the only person who ever supported me in a lifetime of medical woes and awful he was the best. my family? I took care of them all I don't regret it but you think they could have showed up a couple of times!
