Haven't eaten a 馃崙 since I moved to Costa Rica. Imported fruit is outrageously expensive. Bananas, Papaya & Mangos are cheap. Bananas go for about 10 cents per banana.

Papayas are extremely good for platelets. Even better is papaya leaf tea. I buy organic from India. There is only one drug called promacta that cannot be used outside chemotherapy. Everything we need for sustenance, healing comes from our natural world. Sad we don't respect it.

I love mangoes papayas and bananas. I guess I should start thinking about heading south. It's been on my mind and there comes a point where sticking around for medical care is of itself a trauma.

Costa Rica has its own challenges. Anything imported electronic devices are expensive, which means all consumer electronics. Shipping anything to Costa Rica is expensive.
