This is why there are really no standards. I keep saying it but people call me the standards girl. I just point out the lack thereof.

Indeed - FWIW all (not some) but ALL of the young people fighting for open standards - “back in the day” - went to work for BigCos. It’s the older advocates like @dsearls @MaryHodder @davewiner @kevinmarks and yourself - who stayed “independent.” Another sign of Ageism.

Ageism and a lot of other isms. Seriously depressing to the point it's caused me a great deal of despair over outcomes and sense of failure at work. Greed is a form of psychic vampirism for the not-greedy. I'm interested in innovation. Money is just a fabricated social lubricant.
