It greatly pains me to have to pay to go to retrieve all my photos off of @Flickr. I loved that site bestest when it was at its best, which it hasn't been for a very long time whether UI or functional design. The Web makes me sad a lot lately. Declarative Weltschmerz, as it were.

You Flickr folks really ought to inform me of any changes. I just googled and checked Flickr and can find nothing about this. Ah well, it's been a great 13 year run. Where do we host our photos now? Any ideas?

Mike, read my response first. It's a one-off situation, not a global user issue. It just has me cranky as this is not the way the web was meant to be.
