It greatly pains me to have to pay to go to retrieve all my photos off of @Flickr. I loved that site bestest when it was at its best, which it hasn't been for a very long time whether UI or functional design. The Web makes me sad a lot lately. Declarative Weltschmerz, as it were.

Hi Mike. I was gifted a pro account in 2005 by a tech mgr @Flickr. I uploaded tons of photos to my pro account. Person at Flickr moved on to other jobs as we do in this industry, and I was left having to pay for Pro. I stopped paying. I want to catalog pics, to do so I paid. HTH!

Thanks. Very helpful. I didn't realize that non-pro accounts were prevented from downloading images. But also not surprised given Verizon's reputation.
