For a pet project, I'm looking to list out some women who were active and influential in the web from 1995-2002, and not coming up with very many. Enlighten me, please?

Suggestion: I really admire the @500womensci model of setting up nodes geographically. For an OG women in tech history project, integrating a node model means more people can participate/connect with each other IRL locally, esp. as many have moved over the years.

so, question: instead of doing an immediate remedy site, should i go ahead and set up something that will be long-term?
i ask this because then i can go ahead an use a Drupal distribution which would have A LOT already pre-configured for us.
will be posting links next...

I suggest something lightweight and quick - this is getting too complicated to maintain positive, easy momentum. Also, note that the #ladyOGs are in theory Web 1.0 folk, so wouldn't assume Web 2-3 facility.

There are many more IMO! We're in Web version 3.13, and it's very destabilized. We need 3.14 upgrades! Also, now more than one "Web" lest we forget the Web is not the Internet! (Heh we always forget. Even me). IRC is my OG pref, but I was engineered responsively to your needs 馃槀
