LOL exactly - ladies who worked on TCP/IP are not necessarily also social media mavens or savvy bloghers. Maybe yes of course, but hate to assume one way or the other. <3

I think by default every #ladyOG was a BBS user...or IRC/Compuserve//WELL/WAIS/gopher etc LOL.

GEnie, Delphi, Prodigy, Compuserve, OG MSN and the one that took my online virginity - QLink with my Commodore 64 and a Hayes 300 Baud modem (not a coupler, I was progressive) the size of a tissue box. The Well. Fidonet. Freenets. Ah, youth! ❤️💚💙😜🤪😂

I got my start with Plato Homelink. Never looked back. Also lots of BBSes... back when that meant a really expensive long distance bill.

Indeed Esther! I ended up putting a lot of "SysOp" time into GEnie - I loved it the most. 4.95 a month for all-you-could-eat access because GE was rather smart in that regard and put unused hours of their servers to good use for the #LadyOGs indeed! But outside those hours = $$$.
