Mortally ill people are supposed to put on a smiling face for the public and be "heroic" in their "fight" against "disease x" - stupid passive fool yourself nonsense. I will continue to rage against the dying light and RAGE against anyone who disrespects bruised and broken souls.

Thank you for recognizing the real issue implied. It's not about raging against the inevitable death that comes for us all, but the injustices and cruelties that have been perpetrated by people and social mores. A fierce desire for justice among human, kind.

It always has struck me as cruel to expect those with terminal illness to act as superhumans. Everyone needs to have their feelings respected and accepted as reality
