This is actually in the Bible, Sarah - New Testament (Matthew I think?). I didn't read that part 'til I studied theology in college. I have long heard the nautical take-off. "Red sky in morning, Sailors take warning, Red sky at night, sailors delight!" ⚓️ nitter.vloup.ch/slewth/status/93…

@slewth I’ve always said: Red sky at night, sailor’s delight. Red sky at dawn, sailors be warned. And I did a minor in comparative theology.

You never cease to amaze me Joe. Like an onion. Or bottomless cup of coffee. My favorite kind of human. That's the way I heard it, but again, didn't grow up with the New Testament and read it later when studying theology myself.

I bet @slewth would appreciate not being cc'd with our diversion from the topic as it were...poor fellow just gave us the facts! :) I'm still not used to these newfangled Twitter features. THIS account is 10 years old and wasn't my first :) #OldSchool
