Of course my optimism in that moment does not preclude my having meltdowns and tantrums and fighting with asshats. Multitudes after all. Whitman knew what he was being poetic about.

So in step with my being. I've always held a middle finger up to status quo, and now asshats are the status quo. I embrace joy until a perceived slight, and then I'm one scary asshat myself. Deadly. That IS called ALIVE and thank you for reminding me. xo
