And as someone who could have been me (but wasn't) pointed out, the worst thing that could happen to a woman from having sex was running late to class. Course, it wasn't until 1972 that one of my alma maters - Maritz - would hire women as writers. (Or any other professionals?)

Sadly that continues today in the USA for one. With those who are hired, there's a strong probability the job will not come with equitable salaries and benefits no matter merit and performance. We gots lots broken!
