If we have no experience of something "done" how can we "do" / vice-versa? If we're taught that self is what matters then what else matters?

We all have to start somewhere. The self is where everything begins. Start small, listen for feedback, try again.

Getting good feedback in early stages is paramount. Most definitions of privilege reflect exactly that: how soon you were directed well.
