I'm sorry you had to go through that.

Thank you. Life hands us a lot to deal with, all of us in our own ways. It's been a difficult passage. And I'm still here. :)

I feel your pain on that one. Same here.

I'm sorry too. It's not been a good time for so many around the world. We are in difficult times within and without.

True. Most people are either focusing on the negative side of everything or blaming others for their problems but....

That's very true, and wise. And the suffering happens. We find the joy we can but sometimes it's a huge struggle through the depression.

I have been depressed my entire adult life, almost went insane at 24, & my depression just ended suddenly a month or so ago.

I've suffered from chronic depression. Being beaten so badly by my stepfather that I had to be put in the hospital and life makes life hard

I too was physically and emotionally abused by both parents and then some. It makes for an unstable start to life. Hard to course-correct.

In 1977 I was 128 lbs, had hair on the top of my head, & stuttered so badly I could barely speak. I was hugged out of stuttering at church.

It is sad that hugs are therapeutic. I had such a love deficit in my life every hug is like a breath of life.

The physical parental abuse is one huge pain I don't have. That's a tough one too empathize with cause I know I'm not feeling the worst
