That is absolutely logical to me! But what is the difficulty w/ IDs? If not citizen, no vote, that's just logic too...I'm missing something!
Pratik - while it is not illegal to walk around without ID, it's kinda not smart in this country or any country! Case study would help me :)
I'm not arguing you FYI. Just lost the thread. I strongly oppose a NATIONAL FEDERAL ID system. I do want real verification of voting rights.
There is a very specific reason we have multiple ID methodologies: TO NOT impose a Federal ID system.
Well, we are a fragmented government. Distributed, if you will. State vs. Federal is an ongoing drama on many fronts!
Actually - no. You do not need an ID at all. It's just very difficult to not have one. It's also untrue that you can't fly without ID.
well, there are choices: DL, state ID,etc
State IDs are available as are other forms of identification. I could see this being a problem perhaps often with Naturalized Citizens?
PLEASE do not say that Pratik. I was married to a US Navy Corpsman. He was nobody's fool and I feel him rolling in his grave. He hated gov.
Not being rude - continue the conversation - I just need to take a political break and go watch dancing gorillas for stress reduction :D
