I recall a Baird colour TV. It had wood. Pretty sure it had a remote. But only 2 buttons. Mute and standby. Which was useful.

Stand by - what was that? A pause feature of some sort where volume/pic/etc - like mute for the entire set? Interesting!

it was a Zenith 19" color I believe. I grew up in the 80's.

It was a RCA or Radio Shack & it burnt out when I was playing my Sega Genesis connected via coax

no idea of brand but it was a black and white portable. We weren’t allowed to watch much TV. I remember the Shuttle launches.

as a child going to my great uncle and aunt’s house was most exciting because they had a big colour TV.

I can't remember if it was a Quazar or a Zenith? but I think Dad bought a color one in 68; console type. Lived to 77 or 78!
