Don't remember knowing any celebs. Have met the Dahli Lama and a few of his musicians. Know more tribal priests than celebs.

During a military coup there is no such thing as safe. Connections help me to get out of the country in one piece.

He wrote me a letter while hiding under furniture during the coup. He left the Foreign Service not long after. Brutal experience.

Since Vietnam, I have been in 2 wars, & 2 military coups as a civilian. I actually have slowed down.

Sheesh. I'm glad you've slowed down. I lost my husband to this sort of thing. Do not want to see others sacrificed :(
