More like I my parents watch tbbt and I say "lol me" @ what he says. But general dislike of tht show, as previously discussed 😶

Mainly I feel uncomfortable w/ Sheldon as "textbook Autistic" while writers deny it but still write him to harmful tropes

They've always denied it. "Sheldon is just Sheldon" - I understand why you'd feel that way. I find his depiction reassuring!

I think it's reassuring to me because I cannot think of another character on TV prior where a brilliant misfit became iconic.

different era perhaps? It's been more than a decade since the show started. Early episodes were wholly unique at the time!
