@mholzschlag I wonder how many people know the algorithm for the "216 Web Safe" colors? 256 color terminals were really 216 + 32 + 8 codes.

the 216 were display and the others reserved for OS if I recall my color tech at all, yes? No? Both? None of the above? ;-)

The 8 colors were the system colors for 8 color terminals. Plus 32 greyscale colors, were RGB have equal values.
