Ray's body is being washed, anointed in Lavender oil, wrapped in a cotton white sheet only, no embalming and a plain, non-decorative casket.

That's what my husband has stated he wants. I have no idea who to ask. A local rabbi, maybe?

the funeral home you choose will help. If he's a veteran, the V.A. and/or hospice care. A synagogue is definitely an option too.
