I do not agree with this at all. Right now people do not know #CSS practicals, fundamentals or pragmatics. I'm committed to changing this.

Yes. This is why I've already started a #FOSS or if able, by-donation mini-series on #css fundamentals.

when I used to teach CSS to 1st-timers, I'd have them hand write their content. Now it's all obfuscated.

Obfuscated, abstracted, fragmented, cascadeless (hence NOT CSS and not style. Just "S") and bastardized.
