I really kinda hated using @Skype to do the chat. I need an #edtech #opensource multi-use service with video, audio and text chat. Thoughts?

I'll look into Telegram - @jcampbell_05 thank you! :) Of course @SlackHQ and good old fashioned IRC (133T r0Olz FTW) can handle that!

There are so many choices. Everything from ICQ to Allo, with Hanhouts being used by Google for small seminars.

They all are very awkward though and most require payment, do not allow forking or upstreaming as Open Source models do.
