Why does one infant dose (5mL) of Acetaminophen kill pain that 120mgs of oxycodone a DAY can't? I honestly would like to know. #pharmacology

When I broke my left femur in two places, the doctor prescribed an oxycodone for pain. I refused. Tylenol worked fine.

You'd think a physician of 21 yrs. who has full history on a patient is right to do that? He should've pushed back IMO. TOO easy.

Easier to drag out prescription pad than say no. I argue with doctors over pain mgmnt. They surrender to my no narcotics rule.
