They both are, but Twitter is especially trolldom as it's the platform of the world's ugliest troll evah!

Online communities are rewarded to be un-pleasant. Shocking, emotionally moving, instigating, yes. But not pleasant.

"are rewarded" is passive. Who's rewarding? It should mean the community. If it's Facebook that's autocracy. This I worry about.

I'm no expert, but FB seems to use an algorithm that discards all but the exact things it imagines I want. Twitter too but less
